Since 2011, Authentic Floors & Remodeling has been helping homeowners and business owners build spaces that hold up to daily life, to hard use, and to time across Northern New Jersey. We’re a licensed and insured flooring and interior remodeling company, and we’ve built our reputation the slow way: one honest project at a time, in neighborhoods where our work gets recommended by the people living on it.
Our Story
A note on where our standards come from.
Our founder learned this trade the way it should be learned hands first, standards high, no shortcuts. He spent five years mastering the craft inside another flooring company, learning this market’s homes, its seasons, and its corner-cutting (and refusing to practice it), before opening Authentic Floors & Remodeling in 2011. Twenty years in the trade later, he still does this work himself: measuring the room, reading the subfloor, setting the plank.
When we tell you what your space needs, it’s coming from someone who has done it, not just sold it. It also means we know what it takes to build something of your own. We’ve watched clients close on a first home, sign a first lease, and open a first business, and we understand what those moments cost. We treat your project like we know what’s riding on it, because we do.
